"SHE WALKS FROM DUSK TILL DAWN"

I have seen this adorable old lady around my neighborhood for a while, and I always wanted to take pictures of her. So the other day I was with a friend, and I had my camera with me. The lady speaks only russian, so my friend did the talking and she agreed to pose for me with her cute dog. When Resistance won the voting for Cosmosys next exhibition theme, I inmediately thought of her. This old lady, who I assume is around 90, lives all alone, and still has the energy to walk her dog every single day, no matter summer or winter. And believe me, winter gets pretty cold and nasty here in Estonia. Also, Estonia is one of the countries with the lowest pensions in the EU. Not to speak about the fact that this lady survived the depression times after WWI, and the WWII and the Russian occupation of Estonia. But the best is that I printed the pictures in photographic paper, and few days later I went to the park with my friend again, and I gave her the prints. She was so happy that she invited us to her seaside cottage in summer. The project was prepared for Cosmosys exhibition XII Resistance.
